Meet the team responsible for the day to day running of Humber Grain

Grain Trader & Marketing Agent
Marc Rogerson
Marc began his career in the agricultural commodity markets in 1999 when he joined Nidera UK Ltd, Ipswich as a trainee Grain Trader. His role quickly expanded, and he had the opportunity to work on the shipping and haulage departments before going on to develop further as a Commodity Trader. Marc left Nidera UK in 2007 after many happy years as a Senior Grain Trader to try his hand at something different. His next step was to join Gleadell Agriculture Ltd, Hemswell (now ADM Agriculture) as National Milling Wheat Trader and eventually went on to become Trading Manager. In 2011 Marc had the offer of a fantastic opportunity and subsequently moved to Frontier Agriculture, Lincoln as a Wheat Trader. For 7 years he worked as part of a small team trading a National book of quality and feed wheat into the domestic and overseas markets. In 2018, he was offered the role of Oilseed Trading Head for Frontier and Cargill UK and although this was moving away from the wheat trade that he really enjoyed he took it on as it was an opportunity to further develop personally and gain an insight and understanding into the Global Oilseeds trade. Marc has gathered a wealth of experience and knowledge and is excited to now be part of the new chapter with Humber Grain Ltd. He is extremely passionate about agriculture, he loves farming, Lincolnshire, and the interesting and ever-changing world of agricultural commodity markets.
